M83 - Hurry up, we're dreaming

As we all know, there are so many bands out there that have allot of success like the likes of ColdPlay. There are so many other bands out there that have just as much success as them I was just using them as an example.

However, just because a band is well known doesn't necessarily mean that all the bands that people have not heard of, are not good, right ?

This certainly is the case here with the band M83, they are such a good band, and since they produce such a variation of different types of music, I'm sure that you will at least find some tracks that you will become very fond of.

M83 produce some very abstract music which is very difficult to describe as it doesn't really follow any particular trend that I could relate it too. The best way to describe it would be a fusion of rock, synths, classical and also relaxing [in some tracks] type style of music.

Although M83 are not hugely well known, they are present on music streaming services such as Spotify and groove-shark, where you can listen to the tracks a few times completely free of charge. As you can see by the top picture they also have albums in CD version out too which you can purchase on sites like amazon. The one featured on the top of this page is their latest album entitled "Hurry Up Were Dreaming". My personal favorite track on this album is the song entitled "Midnight City". They also have a music video for that song on YouTube that you can check out if you search for that song name.

Just a word of warning about listening to this album on streaming services, the file sizes are very large for each piece, so if you don't have an unlimited data plan then you should be cautious not to overload you download limit. This is the reason for two CD's for 22 tracks.

This is a little update to this hub. I recently have began to hear "midnight city" and other songs from this band featured in TV programs for backing songs. Maybe they are finally getting more noticed than before, they certainly deserve it. Its odd because it was soon after I published this hub I started to hear them on the TV. I'm still yet to hear them on the radio but that might happen soon. Its just so hard to put this music into any category which is a shame since it makes it hard to explain to people what exactly this type of music M83 produce.
